Terms and Conditions
Deposit: Only once the deposit is paid can the wedding date be booked in with the photographer.
In the event of the Clients cancelling or changing the date of the wedding for whatever reason the deposit is non-refundable and will be considered as liquidated damages to the Photographer. In the case where the remaining balance cannot be paid before the event, this will result in your photographer not being present on the day.

Co-operation: We recommend that the Photographer be provided with a helper (usually the best man) who will can act as a point of call and round up individuals to be photographed. The Photographer may also require the assistance of the best man in organising family groups. The Clients also agree to give the Photographer sufficient warning of key events at the wedding to give the Photographer time to prepare.
Paparazzi Wedding Guests: All your guests will have digital cameras / mobile phones and all your guests will want to photograph the wedding. In the spirit of cheerful co-operation the Clients agree to give the Photographers precedence over the guests in order to take the photographs required for the wedding services described. We cannot be held liable for a lack of wedding photos if guests taking their own photos of the Clients which continually interrupt the Photographer's work. It is encouraged that the couple have a NO PHONE or UNPLUGGED ceremony so guests faces aren’t covered by mobile phones and iPads. The clients also agree that Paul (The Bearded Man Photography) & his employees are the only photographers onsite and that no other photographers or guests aspiring to be photographers are to shoot along side them unless agreed prior to the event.
House Rules: Note the Photographers are sometimes limited by rules imposed by registrars, ministers and venue management as to what can and cannot be done. For example some ministers insist that no flash photography is allowed, and others will insist that the Photographers shoot from a specific location. In such circumstances the Clients agree to accept the technical limitations that may be imposed on the equipment used. We advise the Clients to make themselves aware of the rules of the venue concerned and if necessary negotiate with the personnel concerned.
Looking After Your Photographer: As this can be a long day, it is advised that guests provide a hot vegetarian meal for the photographer. This does not have to be the full 3 courses or does he have to be sat with other guests. But just as a small gesture as he is working all day with minimal breaks. Please treat your photographer as a person, it has been noted in the past that sometimes clients / guests mistreat vendors and this can cause serious upset and a cancelation of your shoot. Any assault may it be simple / verbal / sexual or any other kind may result in your session being abandoned.
Albums & Devices: Albums and photos of any form will not be released to the client until the last payment is made.
Copyright Law: The copyright of the images remain with the Photographer.
The Photographer grants the Clients printing rights, permission to make copies of the images and the ability to post on social media under the following conditions;
The images taken by the Photographer will NOT edited in any way, this includes instagram filters etc. They are for the personal use of the Clients, their friends and relatives. Sale and publication of the photographs or any Commercial use is not allowed without prior written permission from the Photographer and will be dealt with accordingly if this agreement is broken. Family and friends should be made aware of these conditions by the cleints when sharing their images.
Model Release: The Clients grant the Photographer the irrevocable and unlimited consent to use the photographs of the Clients and guests for social media, competition, advertising and any other purpose and in any manner, to alter the photographs without restriction; and to copyright the images. The Clients hereby release the Photographer from all liability and claims in connection with the images. Should any guests wish to not be photographed they must make it known to the photographer at the time.
Limitation Of Liability: Photographer's entire liability for any claim, loss, damage or injury arising under or relating to this agreement is limited to the fees paid by the client for the services. In no event shall the photographer be liable for special, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, even if the client informs the photographer of circumstances that would give rise to such damages.
If a photographer is too ill or becomes injured and cannot supply the wedding services specified above, the Photographer will try to book a replacement wedding photographer. If a replacement photographer cannot be found then liability is limited to a refund of any payments received. The Photographers have working methods in place to prevent loss or damage to your images. However, there is the unlikely possibility that images may be lost, stolen or destroyed for reasons in or beyond our control. In these circumstances liability is limited to the return of fees paid for the service or part thereof according to the percentage of images supplied.
Travel Costs: Photographer withholds the right to ask for travel costs outside of the aforementioned distances stated within each package. Further travel expenses may occur and will be discussed with the client on an individual basis. Hotel, flight and public transport costs are also required to be covered by the client in the event that they are needed, again, these are to be discussed prior to any agreement and will be factored in to cost.
